Soap Aid Camp to Community

Soap Aid’s new program, Soap Aid Camp to Community aims to provide the resource sector with a sustainable approach to waste soap recycling. Through our partnership with accommodation facilities across Australia, we save lives by diverting waste soap from landfill, achieving great humanitarian and environmental impact.

We recycle the used bar soap from your accommodation facility and provide it free of charge to vulnerable communities, along with hygiene education programs, to encourage handwashing with soap and improve hygiene and sanitation.

Soap Aid is very pleased to partner with Woollahra Group to implement our innovative Soap Aid Camp to Community program to the resources sector. Woollahra Group is a 100% Indigenous Owned, Manufacturer and Distributor of Cleaning, Janitorial and Hygiene Products and shares Soap Aid’s values to achieve tangible outcomes for Indigenous People and Communities across Australia.

Partnering with Woollahra Group has enabled our innovative circular economy initiative to be embraced by the Resources Sector in Australia. Woollahra Group distributes Soap Aid’s Healthy Hands soap bars and amenities, to FIFO accommodation facilities around Australia. The waste soap that is cleared from rooms is then diverted from landfill and returned to Soap Aid for recycling, via reused laundry buckets to Woollahra’s warehouse in Perth. The soap is then recycled into brand-new soap bars that are distributed to vulnerable communities to improve health outcomes and reduce deaths from hygiene related illnesses.

Soap Aid amenities (Shampoo, Conditioner, body lotion, body wash and hard soap bars) are available for purchase through our corporate sponsor Hunter Amenities.
